The things we really should talk more about but don't because self-doubt, fear of change and rejection make a formidable barrier of anxiety. Pretending the easiest option, up until it isn't anymore.
This character is my chosen representation online (my fursona if you will). This is who I am, and this my coming out drawing.
For the people who knew, for the people who didn't, and for those who had thoughts but didn't ask, nothing really changes. I don't mind any pronouns or name, just use whatever you're most comfortable with. I haven't really acted on this yet because of the aforementioned anxiety, so I won't ask it of you.
The world is an insanely scary place when you realize you don't fit in the established systems, and even more so in this political climate. Help your friends if you can! Talk to them. I wouldn't be here without a few supportive friends who talked about their experiences and led me to realize I was the same.
Happy pride!
If you're reading this I imagine you know how to contact me. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them! Maybe not immediately because it is more than a bit scary and anxiety-inducing to come out, but I promise I'll answer!
